765 kV AIS BUS Replacement at Parli PGCIL WARORA
Polite Powertech Pvt. Ltd. successfully executed the replacement of the 765 kV AIS (Air Insulated Substation) Bus system at the Parli substation under PGCIL, Warora, ensuring the modernization and reliability enhancement of the existing high-voltage infrastructure.
The scope of work involved:
- Dismantling of the existing 765 kV bus system, including conductors, insulators, and associated structures
- Installation of new supporting structures, insulators, and aluminium bus conductors with proper alignment and safety clearances
- Testing and commissioning of the upgraded AIS system, including continuity tests, insulation resistance, and functional checks
- Execution under live substation conditions with stringent safety protocols and minimal interruption to ongoing operations
