11 kV - 66 kV - 132 kV - 220 kV HDD Work in Discom Project
Polite Powertech has successfully undertaken and executed Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) works for 11 kV, 66 kV, 132 kV, and 220 kV underground cable projects across various Discom (Distribution Company) infrastructures. HDD is a trenchless technology used for laying cables beneath roads, railways, rivers, and congested urban areas without surface disruption.
The scope of this comprehensive project included:
- Route survey and soil investigation to assess feasibility and plan optimal drilling paths
- HDD drilling and installation of ducts/pipes for high-voltage underground cables across multiple voltage levels
- Pulling of HT and EHV cables through drilled ducts using precision techniques
- Jointing and termination of cables with high-performance kits and skilled manpower
- Testing and commissioning of the underground cable network, ensuring system integrity and reliability
The project was carried out for various Discoms in Gujarat and other states, enabling infrastructure development in urban and semi-urban zones while minimizing environmental and civic disruption.
Polite Powertech’s capability in HDD-based underground cabling has played a key role in the modernization of power distribution networks, aligning with government initiatives for reliable, safe, and future-ready electrical infrastructure.
